Operating Policies and Ethical Practices

We are committed to ethical, transparent, human-centered policies and practices. Along with the shared information below, we align with the ‍International Federation of Coaches Code of Ethics. If you have any feedback or concerns, please send as a message using the form on our Connect page.

    1. Payment Terms. Payments are made in advance via this website. A welcome email with scheduling link is sent upon successful payment. If you need a different payment method or payment terms, email your request to admin@betsycsobiech.com.

    2. Coaching Scope. Coaching focuses on your priorities, discussed with your coach during your sessions. Coaching assumes you are well and capable of learning and willing to take actions outside of the sessions. Coaching is not therapy; if you are in need of wellness resources, referrals will be provided.

    3. Coaching Session Length and Usage. You will receive the number of coaching sessions purchased. Each coaching session is 50-minutes in length, unless another length of time is specified with your coach. If you purchased 1 session, it must be used within 90 days before expiring. If you purchased 3 sessions, they must be used within 6 months, before expiring. If you purchased 6 sessions, they must be used within 12 months, before expiring.

    4. Scheduling, Cancellation, and No-Shows. Calendly is used for scheduling and rescheduling. If rescheduling is necessary, please reschedule a minimum of 12 hours in advance to avoid a $25 rescheduling or no-show fee.

    5. Renewing. Your coaching contract will not automatically renew. As you near the end of your purchased sessions, you will discuss continuing with your coach. If you mutually agree to continue, you will be sent a link to purchase.

    6. Termination and Refunds. The coaching agreement ends when the coaching sessions are complete or expired. If you’d like to terminate before your sessions have been used, send an email to admin@betsycsobiechcom requesting termination and refunds. Refunds are given on a case-by-case basis, upon mutual agreement.

    7. Confidentiality. We do not share that you are a client, and we hold what is shared in coaching conversations in confidence. If you choose to provide a referral or testimonial, it’s up to you to share you are a client and about your experience.

    8. Guarantee. We guarantee that you will be able to identify and articulate the value you received from coaching; we do not guarantee that a certain goal will be reached by a certain date. During the coaching relationship priorities might change, so success is measured by your satisfaction, not a specific outcome.

    9. Liability. Being well and capable, you are always at choice and responsible for any actions you take and their consequences in your life.
